Family Child Care Provider
Maribel is a very sweet, caring, professional teacher with 21 yrs of experience. She continues with her education currently achieved an Early Childhood Education Certificate through Harvard Graduate School of Education Leadership by Saul Zaentz Early Education Initiative.She also graduated from UMass Boston in Leadership on Early Education Research, Policy and Practice. She also has a bachelor's degree in Business but the most important part is her passion for sharing her heart every day with the children in her home and caring for them as her own.

We believe that children thrive in a place which values their own uniqueness, while providing support and opportunities to grow emotionally, socially and creatively. By building on each child’s strengths, interests and curiosities, we guide each child to explore the world around them as well as develop new abilities and form close relationships with Maribel and playmates.We promote play and encourage them to be a curious, happy and healthy child.Having a primary caregiver help them to developed a sense of familiarity and bonding, characteristics that they need in order to be comfortable and eager to learn.
My Pretty Garden Family Childcare is a very special place! Maribel cares for the children with so much warm attention. Every day she gets them outside for fresh air, has bilingual circle time, and creates content that helps the little ones grow emotionally and intellectually through play. If I have anyone I would want my children to be with during the day, it is Maribel in her amazing, caring program!

Since starting at My Pretty Garden in February 2021, our daughter has thrived under Maribel's care. She learns so much during her time with Maribel and we really appreciate all of the developmentally appropriate learning and playing that Maribel incorporates into the daily routine. Our daughter, now a toddler, is so happy to see Maribel and play with her friends every day. To watch how much our daughter has grown socially and developmentally under Maribel's care is truly a gift.

Maribel is a wonderful care provider. We brought our daughter to her at 3 months when I had to return to work, and stayed with her for about 1.5 years until we moved out of town. Maribel is warm and friendly and so is her family. I always enjoyed watching her circle time videos, watching my daughter and the other children interact and grow up, and she often took the kids on outings to the park/playground down the street or a nearby business where they could listen to some singing.
